The past two years, my identity became inextricably linked to Atwater Village. I didn’t mean for it to happen; I just spent more time here and became invested in the community around me.
I joined the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council as Outreach &
Communications Chair. I learned, and am still learning, the fascinating history and potential of Atwater Village. I’m still piecing together the spectrum of individual relationships to their government, and try new ways of getting people involved.
And let’s just get this out of the way and say that every opinion on this site is my own, and does not reflect the opinion nor attempt to represent the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council in any way.
