LA_FPI exists quite simply to promote female playwrights being produced. Conducting online outreach workshops, branding the logo and becoming a resource for the community are our main goals. Already we’ve connected to people seeking specific script submissions and gained more exposure through LAThtr Meetups.
Soon we’ll start infiltrating – I mean networking – through all the theatre events in June: TCG Conference, Hollywood Fringe Festival, Directors Lab West & Radar LA International Festival.
